Himalayan Salt Stone Massage CEU Starter Package

This Himalayan salt stone massage CEU starter package is designed for professional massage therapists and spa operators looking for a salt stone massage course support kit. It includes the essentials needed for Himalayan salt stone massage training and stone care.

• 6 Himalayan salt stones —2 oval stones, 2 round stones and 2 teardrop stones, 100 percent pure Himalayan salt
• 1- 4 oz. Benefect Decon 30 disinfectant

Mined from the Himalayan Mountains in Pakistan through socially, environmentally responsible manufacturing, Saltability Himalayan salt stones are 100% pure pink Himalayan salt, certified organic, antimicrobial and antibacterial.

To heat stones without a Saltability warmer, the best method is to heat in a dry sauté pan on a hot plate or stove top. This method takes less than 3 to 5 minutes and the stones should be heated to a warmth that is comfortable to the touch, but not be too hot to pick up by hand. Please use caution not to burn yourself. Stay close to stones so you pick them up when they are at a warm temperature that your hands can tolerate. For best results, insulate them in a hand towel after heating: Wrap them up being careful not to drop them (stones may crack or break if dropped on a solid floor).

DO NOT heat stones in a hot towel cabinet (moisture will reduce them and make them rough) but massage oil/lotion/cream is fine but NO WATER. (microwave is not suggestible).

To clean stones, simply spray with Benefect Decon 30 and wipe completely dry with a cotton towel. Decon 30 will not degrade Himalayan salt.

Unlike typical disinfectants, Benefect Decon 30 is specially formulated to kill 99.99 percent of bacteria in just 30 seconds. With no synthetic chemicals, fragrances, dyes or bleach, Decon 30 uses the same botanical active ingredient that Benefect is known for, effectively eliminating bacteria on both porous and nonporous surfaces.

Benefect Decon 30 uses the botanical active ingredient thymol — present as a compound of thyme oil — to work as a bactericidal against Staphylococcus aureus (Staph), Salmonella enterica, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli (E-coli) as well as a virucidal against Rhinovirus (the common cold virus) and Influenza A.

Keep stones away from water to ensure long-lasting stones. When exposed to moisture, Himalayan salt stones will reduce down or roughen. If stones get rough, sand with sandpaper to smooth so they are not abrasive to skin.
