The International Spa Association (ISPA) recently announced that Saltability, the spa industry’s leading global provider of warmers for Himalayan salt stone massage, has been selected to receive a 2019 Innovate Award. Presented annually, ISPA Innovate Awards honor spa industry leaders for their innovative and successful spa-related initiatives.
“As a spa industry, we are very fortunate to have leaders that are constantly looking for new, innovative ways to grow our industry,” said ISPA President Lynne McNees. “We are excited to recognize this year’s Innovate Award winners as their forward-thinking ideas continue to inspire others.”
The award recognizes Saltability in the Leadership & Philanthropy category for its work to raise money and awareness in the fight against Alzheimer’s Disease. Led by event chair and Saltability founder Ann Brown, the Alzheimer’s Association’s 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Boca Raton, Florida drew a record-breaking 2,600 participants and raised nearly $340,000.
“We are honored to receive this award and so grateful for our spa partners’ support,” said Brown. “Thank you to ISPA for this recognition — and all of our supporters. Through your business and support, we will continue to pay it forward in meaningful ways that impact in such a positive way.”
The 2019 award makes the third time Saltability has been recognized for innovation by ISPA. The company was also awarded ISPA Innovate Awards in 2016 and 2017 for their Himalayan salt stone warmers, Himalayan salt stones for massage and other unique and innovative products.
The Spa at Cliff House Maine is also being awarded an ISPA Innovate Award for their Salt of the Sea treatment series using Saltability Himalayan salt stones in specific massage techniques for pain reduction and stress relief.
