Saltability, a spa industry business that provides quality Himalayan salt stone treatments and products for resort, day, medical and destination spas, recently released its 3-Drawer Warming Cart, a new product aimed at increasing convenience and ease for spa professionals delivering Himalayan salt stone massage.
Designed at counter height with three drawers of varying sizes and uses, the cart offers therapists a place to store and warm their Himalayan salt stones and other massage products, with a wheeled cart that can easily move between treatment rooms and easily in the treatment room around the massage table.
“Convenience and multitasking was a huge factor in creating this product,” says Ann Brown, Saltability founder and CEO. “Not only did we consider therapists’ need for an all-in-one storage and warming system – with separate spaces for clean and used linens, a pull-out shelf for oils, and small hot towel cabby on top – but we also designed the cart’s overall height, drawer height and depth with therapists’ comfort in mind that has easily be moved with one hand due to its light weight and castor system. It’s an incredibly functional piece.”
Saltability’s 3-Drawer Warming Cart is 35 inches tall, with the two bottom drawers measuring just over 12 inches high and the top drawer approximately 5.5 inches tall. The middle drawer is heated to keep Himalayan salt massage stones warm and ready for the next treatment, and stones maintain a consistent, even temperature for therapists’ safe use on guests.
Available for purchase by professional customers only, the 3-Drawer Warming Cart retails for $1,079 and includes the 35-inch 3-drawer cart and 20 Himalayan salt stones (six round, six oval, six teardrop and two heart stones). A bottle of Decon 30 disinfecting spray, recommended for cleaning, is available for an additional $12.50.
