Saltability Recognized as Green Spa Network Sustainability Award Finalist

BOCA RATON, FL — As the spa industry’s leading global provider of warmers for Himalayan salt stone massage, Saltability was recently honored as a finalist for the Green Spa Network’s sixth annual Sustainability Awards. The awards recognize innovation and leadership by the spa industry in support of a vital planet and vital people.

Saltability was one of three companies recognized for the award in the Equipment category. Spa linen company Comphy Co. was named winner in the Equipment category, and Jade Yoga was also recognized as a finalist.

“Caring for our planet is an important part of caring for ourselves,” said Saltability founder and CEO Ann Brown. “Saltability is honored to be recognized for our commitment to promoting sustainability in the wellness industry, and we offer our congratulations to Comphy Co. and the other winners and finalists.” Saltability’s eco-friendly Himalayan salt stone warmers feature LED technology, making them longer lasting (an estimated 20,000 hours) and more energy efficient (estimated 80 to 90 percent energy efficiency) than traditional warmers. They also require less power, using just 75 watts compared to 1,500-watt traditional roasters.

The company imports its 100 percent pure, certified organic Himalayan salt products directly from Pakistan, mined from the Himalayan Mountains through socially, environmentally responsible manufacturing. The International Spa Association has also honored Saltability with two consecutive ISPA Innovate Awards (2016 and 2017) for its eco-friendly products and dedication to innovation.
