Saltability founder and CEO Ann Brown has been selected to join the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing Advisory Board at Florida Atlantic University.
In addition to her leadership at Boca Raton-based Saltability, Brown is active in several local organizations, including Rotary International, the YMCA, Habitat for Humanity and the Alzheimer’s Association. The Downtown Boca Raton Rotary Club named her Rookie Rotarian of the Year in 2018, and she served as committee chairperson for the local 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer’s. She is currently serving as co-chair for the Gumbo Limbo 10K, raising funds for the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center’s sea turtle rescue and conservation efforts.
“Education has been a passion of mine since I first began in the spa industry, so I am excited about this opportunity to serve on the FAU College of Nursing Board,” said Brown. “Through this role, I look forward to delving into this new aspect of the wellness industry while we help others fulfill their career dreams and serve a vital need for quality nursing in our communities.”
Brown has more than 20 years of experience in nearly every aspect of the resort spa business. She founded Saltability in 2014, which serves the spa and wellness industries through Himalayan Salt Stone Massage and other products made from 100 percent pure Himalayan salt mined from the Himalayas in Pakistan through socially and environmentally responsible manufacturing.
