Kicking off the 2018 Boca Raton Walk to End Alzheimer's

Kicking off the 2018 Boca Raton Walk to End Alzheimer's

I'm tremendously honored to serve as the chair of the 2018 Boca Raton Walk to End Alzheimer's with the Alzheimer's Association. The walk will take place this October 28th at the Mizner Park Amphitheater in Boca Raton and will raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's research, care and support.

Serving my local community is deeply important to me, and I look forward to the coming weeks and months as we prepare for this event.

On April 10th, we had a committee launch party (pictured below). What a perfect start to the 5th annual Alzheimer’s Walk committee party. We have a great team of people ready to raise awareness and funds for this disease!

Would you like to join us? There are several ways you can get involved in this phenomenal cause.

Ways to Get Involved:

1. Walk with us on October 28! The walk will cover two miles in beautiful Boca Raton, Florida.

2. Donate. Every donation counts. Help us reach our goal of $410,000.

3. Volunteer and join the event committee: We meet once a month to plan the event, recruit teams, distribute event materials, secure sponsorships and more! Volunteers can join at any time. To become a volunteer, contact Stefanie Mardar at 954-786-1533 or srmardar@alz.org

To help in any (or all!) of these positions, please visit our Boca Raton page on the Alzheimer's Association website.

I'm excited to prepare for the 2018 Boca Walk, but more importantly, to help an organization that I am passionate about. Together, we can make a HUGE difference in Alzheimer's awareness and research. Thank you for supporting this event!

Let's "take the first step to a world without Alzheimer's."

Sincerely,

Ann Brown, Founder & CEO of Saltability
