This year I had the great pleasure of serving as event co-chair with David Eltringham for the Alzheimer’s Association 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer’s — and what an event it was! A record-breaking 2,600 Boca Raton-area residents showed up Oct. 28 at Mizner Park Amphitheater in Boca Raton and joined in the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease. Together, we raised nearly $340,000 to fund Alzheimer’s care, support and research programs.
Our wrap-up event was held last week at Prosperity Brewers, and I was once again reminded of my sincere gratitude for this entire experience and the support you all have shown.
Thank you to each and every one of you who walked and/or contributed to the cause. I’m continually blown away by the support you all show, and I’m so grateful to have been part of an event that so aptly reflects the generous spirit of this community.
